GLAAACC Education Fund Will Host Their 1st Annual Celebrity Waiter And Waitress Luncheon on December 4th
WHO: The Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce (GLAAACC) Education Fund & Foundation is a public benefit nonprofit organization, under federal 501(c)(3). The GLAAACC Ed Fund & Foundations was designed to provide a scholarship program focusing on the general academic education for graduating high school seniors. Our scholarship recipients include graduating high school seniors pursuing a degree in business or a related field.
WHAT: 1st Annual GLAAACC Education Fund & Foundation (GLAAACC Ed Fund) Celebrity Waiter/Waitress Luncheon is a fundraising event to support our college scholarship programs. It will be a very upbeat luncheon fund & friend raising event in which “local celebrities” act as waiters/waitresses for the tables of those in attendance at the luncheon to raise scholarship dollars for the GLAAACC Education Fund & Foundation Scholarship Program. The list of our Celebrity Waiters/Waitresses ranges from State and local elected officials, to giants in the fields of education, entertainment, law enforcement, and business
WHEN: Friday, December 4, 2015 * 11:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
WHERE: The Muses Room/Annenberg Hall at the California Science Center, 700 State Dr.,
Los Angeles, CA 90037 (right next to the famous Rose Garden in Exposition Park)
WHY: The GLAAACC Ed Fund wants to increase the number of scholarships awarded
to disadvantaged minority students. Over the past 16 years, we have awarded over $350,000 in scholarships.
