‘Moonlight,’ ‘Atlanta’ Win Big at Golden Globes

135th Street Agency clients A24 and FX took home Golden Globes for the critically acclaimed film Moonlight and the hit new comedy series “Atlanta,” respectively.
Going into the evening with six nominations, Moonlight won the night’s most prestigious prize: “Best Motion Picture – Drama,” while “Atlanta” earned “Best Musical or Comedy TV Series” and “Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy” for creator/executive producer/star Donald Glover.

Since opening last October, Moonlight has been nominated for six NAACP Image Awards, six AAFCA Awards, three Screen Actor Guild Awards and six Independent Spirit Awards. The film has won two Critics’ Choice Awards, four Gotham Awards, four LA Film Critics Association Awards, three NY Film Critics Circle Awards and many more.
