We Are Voices – For a Future Without Genocide was recorded at The Newman Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Denver.  Denise Gentilini  teamed together with Producer, Steve Avedis for the We Are Voices project to use voices and original songs as instruments of peace to promote and affect positive change. This concert was created to promote awareness of genocide and to inspire people to get involved and learn more about genocide prevention. We Are Voices gathered  the very best of Denvers’ vocalists, musicians and writers.
Denise Gentilini, founder of The We Are Voices Project, is a two time Emmy Award winning composer. Beth Avedis is one of Colorado’s own premier award winning powerhouse vocal entertainers and has performed with such music legends as Gladys Knight, The Temptations, Foreigner, Leon Russell and Mitch Ryder. Sheryl Renee has been hailed as one of Colorado’s top career vocalists and premier entertainers. Hazel Miller is not just a great singer; “she is a force of nature!” quotes the Rocky Mountain News. Her voice has been called “stunning, moving and powerful.”
“We Are Voices” features 13 of Denises’ original songs performed by vocalists, Beth Avedis, Sheryl Renee, Hazel Miller and Robbyn Kirmsse.  Journey through
exquisitely written ballads, uplifting and heartfelt uptempo songs and more that will leave you with a feeling of wanting more!
