Last night, ASCAP’s “Women Behind the Music” series hit Atlanta to honor three local VIPs for their outstanding achievements in music: Deb Antney (CEO, Mizay Music Group), singer-songwriter Keke Wyatt, and attorney Omara Harris. The event took place at Negril Village Atlanta and began with a MYX & Mingle hour, where guests enjoyed the natural flavors of Mango, Coconut, Peach and original MYX Fusions Moscato. DJ Adore kept spirits high.
Shortly after the honorees’ arrival, singer-songwriter Rae Louise charmed the crowd with an acoustic performance of two original songs followed by a Q&A with the honorees hosted by ASCAP Rhythm & Soul/Urban Associate Director Jennifer Goicoechea. Additional attendees included R&B Diva Latavia Roberson, singer-songwriter Crystal Nicole, R&B groupHavok Jones, and entertainment attorneys Kendall Minter, Bernie Lawrence-Watkins, Keisha Perry and Delia Hobbs.
