Many of Southern California’s most influential and socially conscious supporters walked the red carpet and attended the organization’s annual fundraising event. A number of celebrities including Yara Shahidi, (Black-ish) Marcus Scribner (Black-ish), Marilyn McCoo & Bill Davis Jr., Carla Ortiz (Oscar contender “Olvidados”), John Savage (In Dubious Battle), Blanca Blanco (Ovid and the Art of Love), Ariane Andrew (WWE), Tilda Del Del Toro and Reynaldo Pacheco (Our Brand is Crisis), Kate Linder (Young & The Restless), Leyla Crawford (The First Family) and many more. Philanthropic companies including Hint Water, Quest Nutrition, Hop Skip Drive, La Provence Bakery, NudeStix, Extensions Plus and Harlequin Teen Publishers generously donated product to support CARRY’s work.

The 9th annual C.A.R.R.Y. Gala celebrated the charity’s

supporters with a delightful evening of tapas, hosted drinks, musical entertainment, dancing, silent and live auctions, a short presentation and spirited conversation.

“All of our loyal supporters who allow us to do the fine work of helping those who need it most have gone beyond the call of duty to impact the lives of this underserved and neglected population who, with CARRY’s love and support, can fulfill their potential,” says founder and Gala Chair, Dr. Pearl Grimes. “Resilience, compassion and the spirit of ‘giving’ for children who need a helping hand most is what heroes are made of.”
