4Seasons West Ski and Board Club Celebrates Their 50th Anniversary At The California African American Museum
The 4 Seasons West Ski and Snowboard Club, Inc (4SW) will celebrate their 50th Anniversary with a black tie gala on September 24th, 2016 from 6:00p to 11:00pm at the California African American Museum located in Exposition Park and is adjacent to the Los Angeles Coliseum and the Science Museum. The evening will include community leaders and celebrity guests as they help this historic organization bring in 50 years of outstanding service to the African American Community.

4 Seasons West Ski & Snowboard Club Inc. is a California 501-c7 corporation serving the Los Angeles African American community. The mission of Four Seasons West Ski and Snowboard Club, Inc. is to promote the sport of snow riding amongst adult and youth of the greater Los Angeles African-American community. In accomplishing this mission, it is essential that members receive exceptional value in terms of affordable services of the highest quality. Our members, enterprise partners, and community must benefit from our success. We are a club for all seasons where families, single adults,and youth can socialize, network, and have fun through various activities. We want to create an environment where young African Americans can enjoy a sport that for many is quite inaccessible.
4SW was formed in 1966 and over the years has literally introduced thousands of Angelenos to the joys of snow riding. scuba diving, camping, tennis, golf, sky diving, canoeing, white water rafting, house boating, water skiing and trips to the Motherland. From the tops of the mountains to the bottom of the oceans 4SW members have left visible tracks and hold vivid memories of fun filled experiences. 4SW is also a charter member of the National Brotherhood of Skiers and conceived, developed and managed the first Black Summit meeting in Aspen, CO in 1973.
