Star Wars: The Last Jedi Red Carpet Premiere
Star Wars: The Last Jedi Red Carpet with John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Gwendoline Christie. On Saturday, December the 9th, thousands of fans, celebrities and media descended on the Shrine Auditorium for the much-anticipated world premiere of STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI.
Dozens of “Star Wars” stormtroopers and droids marched down the carpet into Shrine Auditorium, viewers – including the star-studded cast — got a chance to watch the film before it hits theaters on Dec. 15.
The evening was dedicated to Carrie Fisher, who played Leia and who died last December. “The Last Jedi” is the late actress’ final onscreen performance in the franchise.
Director, Rian Johnson dedicated the night to “Carrie Fisher”.
The film stars Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, as well as newcomers Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern, and Benicio del Toro.
