Directed and written by Brian Cavallaro” Against The Night” storyline is simple and predictable.  When you put a bunch of people in an abandoned prison at night, you already know bad things are going to happen.

Nine friends sneak into the prison at night to film a ghost hunting video but when they start disappearing  everyone begins to blame each other. Tempers flare along with rivalries and soon it’s a fight for survival to get out alive.

Aspiring filmmaker Hank (Luke Persiani) tells his friends enough scary stories about the prison that would make anyone  want to leave but of course they all stay knowing its a bad idea. In the end we are left with one survivor attempting to explain what happened to Detective Ramsey(played by Frank Whaley) who has a hard time believing any of it until it’s too late.

If you like the horror genre then you might like “Against The Might” don’t worry if the filmmaker seems like he wanted to make a movie within a movie, you’re still get a few chills with this one.

“Against The Nightis directed by Emmy Award winning and CLIO nominated commercial director Brian Cavallaro and features Hannah Kleeman, Tim Torre, and Frank Whaley (Pulp Fiction, Vacancy, Swimming with Sharks).  The film was produced by Brian Cavallaro and Arielle Brachfeld, and co-produced by Mike Mendez and Hank Braxton.

The film will be available on iTunes, Fandango Now, Vudu, Amazon, Google Plus, Xbox, iN Demand and additional digital platforms on March 27.
