4th Annual Project Heal Gala Part 1 & 2

The Project HEAL Southern California Chapter’s  held it’s fourth annual gala in Beverly Hills, California. Chaired by Silicon Valley’s Amanda Crew, the gala featured dinner and cocktails, a robust silent auction, a balloon pop with great prizes, and presentations by local celebrities and advocates.

The theme of the event was “Resilience” highlighting the incredible strength and power it takes to fully recover from an eating disorder. The Chapter honored Jenni Schaefer, eating disorder advocate and author of Life without ED: How One Woman Declared Independence from Her Eating Disorder and How You Can Too and Goodbye ED, Hello Me: Recover from your Eating Disorder and Fall in Love with Life.

Project HEAL is the largest nonprofit in the U.S. providing access to healing for all people with eating disorders. Co-founders Kristina Saffran and Liana Rosenman met after recovering from anorexia at 15, and they’ve had incredible growth and momentum – 40 Chapters worldwide, 38k followers on Facebook and Instagram, engaging sponsors like Arianna Huffington, UBER, and The 49ers, and significant press like Fast Company & Forbes 30 under 30.
