AGAPE International Spiritual Center Led By Reverend Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith Relocates from Culver City to Beverly Hills, CA



The venerable AGAPE International Spiritual Center led by renowned spiritual teacher and author, Reverend Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith has relocated to the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, where their weekly Sunday services will be held henceforth.  From Stevie Wonder and Oprah Winfrey, to Hilary Swank, Sterling K. Brown, Scott Bakula, Van Morrison and Ben Vereen, to Deepak Chopra, all have proclaimed Dr. Beckwith as one of the greatest global inspirational leaders of modern time in the 21st Century.

On July 22, 2018, AGAPE celebrated Dr. Beckwith’s birthday and kicked off its inaugural service at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, CA featuring a megawatt musical celebration as the legendary Stevie Wonder and Soul and R&B vocalist Goapele serenaded Dr. Beckwith with Stevie Wonder’s song “Happy Birthday,” which Wonder wrote to celebrate Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday becoming a national holiday.


Weekly Services:
           Every Sunday morning at the Saban Theatre, 8440 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, CA 90211 AGAPE International Spiritual Center holds three services which are open to all who wish to attend, beginning with the Way of Meditation Service 7:00 – 7:45 a.m. led by Dr. Beckwith, followed by a guided meditation led by a member of AGAPE’s ecclesial staff at 8:30 a.m. preceding a 9:00 a.m. worship and celebration service led by Dr. Beckwith.  Then at 11:00 a.m. there is another guided meditation, followed by the 11:30 a.m. worship and celebration service led by Dr. Beckwith.

 Each weekly service consists of talks by Dr. Beckwith on Spiritual Principles and Universal Truths and how to practice them in daily life.  Services include AGAPE’S signature inspirational, high-energy original music called “Rhythm & Joy,” as well as other spiritually-uplifting songs performed by AGAPE and guest soloists backed by the AGAPE All-Star House Band, as well as readings, affirmative prayers and occasional appearances of special guests.  The last Sunday of every month the AGAPE International Choir performs.  Services vary from week to week and are always different.
 Parking is available for the nominal charge of $5 at the Flynt Building, 8484 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, CA  90210, located next to the Saban Theatre.  Free parking is available at parking meters surrounding the Saban Theatre and at the Beverly Hills Tennis Center Parking Lot at 321 S. La Cienega Boulevard.
