As soon as I saw his stomach and saw GI issues my thoughts went to he may be suffering from Gastroparesis (delayed stomach emptying a.k.a. paralyzed stomach) I was dx with this in 2005, but went through 3 years of testing before I got that dx and about 15+ years of idiopathic GI issues as well. I have numerous more GI issues in addition to GP, including mastocystic and colagenous colitis.
Ive had to be sustained on NJ, J, GJ, and TPN feedings as my condition has advanced and peristalsis through entire GI has ground to a near halt.
