We had a chance to chat with Fernando Hidalgo the star of ERNESTO’S MANIFESTO and the Writer/Director David Matthews. The men met in a unique way and have become fast friends. I am sure we will be seeing more projects from them in the future.
The comedy film is currently in US theatres, from December 13th to January 3rd, then on-demand, on DVD, Blu-Ray, and across all digital platforms January 14th, 2020. Written and directed by David M. Matthews, ERNESTO’S MANIFESTO, follows Ernesto, a sweet, simple and gentleman, who is doing the best he can to get by in current-day Los Angeles. A series of bad breaks, however, cause him to lose his job, his girlfriend, and his home, which places him in a very precarious situation. Then, just when all seems hopeless, he finds employment, which leads to housing, an important friendship, and unexpectedly, a new and improved career trajectory. In his new position, he finds love, financial independence and a bright and promising future – a happy ending beyond his wildest expectations, and manifestations.
