YASMIN MORRIS
Yasmin Morris is the Scripted Development Coordinator at Gunpowder & Sky. She is credited for her work on Empire and Chicago Med. Yasmin is grateful to be working with amazingly talented content creators every day.
ALVARO “ALVIE” HURTADO
Alvie Hurtado works in the in the Features department at Will Packer Productions, where he’s been involved in such films as Night School, What Men Want, Little, and The Photograph. He’s currently developing LatinX projects for the company, including the recently announced Tias, a female-driven Latina ensemble drama at Universal being co-produced with Eva Longoria. Before this, Alvie was at Valor Entertainment, a management company with a focus on the LatinX market.
MISSY LANEY
Missy Laney is the Director of Development at Adult Swim. Laney previously worked at the Sundance Institute, growing their #ArtistServices Initiative, a program that focused on how technology is changing the way audiences interact with films. Laney also worked at BitTorrent Inc, leading their film strategy where she launched The Discovery Fund, BitTorrent’s first ever artist granting initiative.
