The film features five Mexican-American, Los Angeles-based Immigration lawyers who created a support group to navigate the current anti-Immigrant legal landscape. The film’s content is especially timely as we head towards the Presidential election and the current concerns about vulnerable communities during the pandemic.

Director/Writer/Producer/Priscilla Gonzalez Sainz

The film is screening online tomorrow, any time for free, as part of the Palm Springs International Film Festival:https://www.psfilmfest.org/2020-shortfest/film-finder/status-pending

As Priscilla explains “My way into this film is through my sister, Araceli, who is one of the five featured in the film. I saw first-hand how she struggled to navigate the current system and when I found out about her support group of first-generation immigration lawyers, I was inspired to tell this story from their point of view.”

Jose Osorio, Esq. Glendale, California
