HOLLYSHORTS 7TH ANNUAL SCREENPLAY CONTEST SEMIFINALIST SELECTIONS
With a record number of over 1,000 submissions, Hollyshorts is very proud to announce the semifinalists of their 7th annual screenplay contest, part of the 16th annual HollyShorts Film Festival.
The finalists will be announced on October 9th. The top 3 screenplays will be announced/awarded during the HollyShorts Awards Ceremony on November 15, with the winning script receiving a $10,000 production deal courtesy of Seattle Film Summit. 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive Final Draft software. Awards will also be given in categories for best TV Pilot and Female Screenwriter.
All screenplay selections will receive a festival all-access pass.
The completed shorts will screen at the Academy Qualifying 2021 HollyShorts Film Festival at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres.
