In a very special finale to this year’s European Film Awards, the European Film Academy presented the popular awards for European film talent in the categories of feature film, documentary, and first feature for the 33rd time. The prestigious film awards took place this year at the ‘Futurium’ in Berlin, which is also the headquarters of the European Film Academy. Due to the pandemic, the event was broadcast via live stream and was accompanied by several highlights – such as the appearance of German director legend Wim Wenders, who celebrated his last year as president of the European Film Academy.
