‘Running out is easy, coming home’s complicated’
Written and directed by Anna Simone Scott ‘TAKE MY HEART’ is a powerful short about love and forgiveness. We spoke to director Anna Simone Scott and award-winning actor Kim Estes about the film.

The film focuses on Mackenzie(played by Joy Sunday), an aspiring singer/songwriter who seeks redemption from her troubled past, her estranged father, Ray(played by Kim Estes), who tracks her down. Mac now faces the decision of allowing him back into her life. Ray steps in to protect Mac from a stalker ex-boyfriend, Fox(played by Roy Williams Jr.), then takes her to their old home where Mac slowly opens up to the possibility of forgiveness.
