THE BITE

All six episodes of THE BITE will drop on Friday, May 21 ad-free exclusively on Spectrum’s On Demand platform.

THE BITE follows the lives of two neighbors Rachel (Audra McDonaldThe Good Fight) and Lily (Taylor SchillingOrange is the New Black) as they embark on unprecedented times when a deadly new strain of a virus arrives.  Navigating the new normal in New York City, Rachel works from home juggling her many telemedicine clients and a shaky marriage to her husband Dr. Zach (Steven PasqualeThe Comey Rule) who has a prestigious job at the CDC miles away in Washington D.C.  Meanwhile, Lily is upstairs trying to convince her Wall Street clientele that her very specific skillset is still just as valuable through a video screen as it was in person.  

THE BITE is co-produced by Spectrum Originals and CBS Studios and the series is created and written by Robert & Michelle King. The show is also produced by their production company King Size Productions with Liz Glotzer and Brooke Kennedy also serving as executive producers. Additional cast includes Will Swenson as “Brian Ritter,” Phillipa Soo as “Cyndi Estereo” and Leslie Uggams as “Dr. Hester Boutella.”

PRESS YOUR LUCK

Premieres Wednesday, May 26 at 8/7c on ABC

Hosted by Elizabeth Banks, “Press Your Luck,” is a game of wits, strategy and even higher stakes as contestants try to avoid the iconic and devilish WHAMMY for a chance at life-changing cash and prizes. During each game of “Press Your Luck,” three contestants compete against each other answering questions to earn spins on the Big Board. Contestants then use their spins to win cash and prizes while trying to avoid the WHAMMY, who could take all of their winnings and leave them with nothing. The winning contestant moves on to the bonus round to face the WHAMMY in a final battle for the chance to win a million dollars. “Press Your Luck” is produced by Fremantle. The show is executive produced by Jennifer Mullin, Elizabeth Banks, Max Handelman and John Quinn, who also serves as showrunner.

GORDON RAMSAY: UNCHARTED

Ten-Part Third SeasonPremieres Monday, May 31 at 9/8c on National Geographic, Available Next Day on Disney+ 

After its Memorial Day premiere, the series will air weekly on Sundays at 9/8c, beginning on Sunday, June 6. Seasons one and two of “Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted”are also available to stream on Disney+ 

Gordon Ramsay laces his boots, grabs his knives and buckles up as he hits the road to embark on exhilarating adventures, exploring world cultures through food in National Geographic’s “Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted.” The multi-Michelin-star chef and Ironman athlete feasts his way around the globe – risking life and limb in daring missions – in pursuit of culinary inspiration and edible excellence. Under the guidance of local experts and food legends he meets along the way, Ramsay will partake in culinary customs, learn about delicious delicacies and taste fresh flavors unique to each region. In the upcoming third season, Ramsay goes off the grid and off recipe as he feasts his way through Portugal, Croatia, Mexico, Texas, Maine, Puerto Rico, Iceland, the Smoky Mountains, Michigan and Finland.  

BREAKING BOBBY BONES 

New series premieres Monday, May 31 at 10/9c on National Geographic, with two back-to-back episodes, then moves to Sundays at 10/9c with two new episodes premiering each week 

In each half-hour episode of “Breaking Bobby Bones,” Bobby Bones pursues his own mantra—Fight. Grind. Repeat.—by traveling to far-flung destinations across the country to find people with unique jobs, skills, hobbies and abilities. Upon arrival, he meets local everyday heroes who challenge him to conquer (or at least attempt) the tricks of their trades while exploring the triumphs and tragedies that made these heroes who they are today. Through their joint experiences, viewers come along for the ride learning what it’s like to become a tenacious stunt artist, kayak the Colorado River blindfolded and play para hockey on a sled. It’s an action-packed celebration of Americans who work hard, play hard and, above all, take pride in everything they do.

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT

Season 16 Premiere on Tuesday, June 1 at 8-10pm ET/PT on NBC

The 16th season of “America’s Got Talent” returns on Tuesday, June 1 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT) with a new set of aspiring performers looking to compete for the ultimate $1 million prize. Executive producer Simon Cowell returns to the star-studded judging panel with global fashion icon Heidi Klum, fan-favorite comedian Howie Mandel and acclaimed actress and international superstar Sofia Vergara. Terry Crews, the dynamic co-star of NBC’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” also returns as host.

This season promises some of the wildest acts to ever grace the “AGT” stage after an unprecedented number of submissions poured in from across the country. “America’s Got Talent” dominated last summer’s landscape and ranked as the #1 series on the Big 4 networks in total viewers and led NBC to 18-49 wins among the Big 4 on every Tuesday night (excluding sports). The show was the most-watched entertainment program nearly every week it aired. In addition to being on top of the ratings game, “AGT” is also a digital/social phenomenon, having amassed 2.95 billion views across all digital video platforms in 2020 and was ranked the #3 most-social broadcast series last year.

“America’s Got Talent” was created by Simon Cowell and is co-produced by Fremantle and Syco Entertainment. Simon Cowell, Sam Donnelly, Jason Raff and Richard Wallace are the executive producers.

RISE AGAIN: TULSA AND THE RED SUMMER

The documentary film premieres June 2021 on National Geographic. 

National Geographic Documentary Films is partnering with acclaimed filmmaker Dawn Porter (“The Way I See It,” “Good Trouble: John Lewis”) and Trailblazer Studios on a feature documentary that sheds new light on a century-old period of intense racial conflict. RISE AGAIN: TULSA AND THE RED SUMMER comes one hundred years from the two-day Tulsa Massacre in 1921 that led to the murder of hundreds of Black people and left thousands homeless and displaced. The film will premiere in June on National Geographic, commemorating Juneteenth when the last enslaved Black people in Texas received news of their emancipation, and will air globally in 172 countries and 43 languages. Award-winning Washington Post journalist and Oklahoma native DeNeen Brown is at the heart of the film, reporting on the search for a mass grave in her native state. Digging into the events that led to one of the worst episodes of racial violence in America’s history, Brown reveals insights into racial conflict incidents that erupted in the early 20th century.

CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD

Premieres Sunday, June 6 at 8/7c on ABC

Hosted by the highly popular stand-up comedian, actor, author and Emmy® Award winner Steve Harvey, “Celebrity Family Feud” has celebrities along with their families go head-to-head in a contest to name the most popular responses to survey-type questions posed to 100 people for a chance to win money for a charity of their choice. “Celebrity Family Feud” is produced by Fremantle. Gaby Johnston and Jennifer Mullin are executive producers.

TO TELL THE TRUTH

Premieres Sunday, June 6 at 10/9c on ABC 

Hosted by “black-ish” star Anthony Anderson, “To Tell the Truth” is the funny re-imagination of the beloved game show that features prominent pop-culture icons and unique commentary and banter from Anderson’s mother, Mama Doris. In each round, the panel is presented with three people who all claim to be the same person with the same incredible talent, job or achievement. One is sworn to tell the truth, while the other two use every trick they can to deceive the panel. The panel of celebrities has a chance to grill each participant before taking turns deciding who they think is telling the truth. “To Tell the Truth” is produced by Fremantle. Alycia Rossiter is showrunner and executive producer, and Jennifer Mullin, Jeff Gaspin, George Moll and Anthony Anderson are executive producers.

Season 8 is currently airing at 10/9c on Paramount Network. The show’s 200th episode premieres on June 13. 

Veteran nightlife expert Jon Taffer is on a mission to save bars on the brink of shutting down. Bringing in over 30 years of hands-on experience, Jon empowers bar owners to eliminate health hazards, shoddy staff and bad branding to turn failing bars into profitable businesses. This season is filmed in Jon’s hometown of Las Vegas, NV where he will be rescuing bars impacted severely by Covid-19. This season also celebrates a MAJOR milestone – they’ll be airing their 200th episode on June 13.

CARD SHARKS

Premieres Wednesday, June 16 at 10/9c on ABC

Hosted by Joel McHale, “Card Sharks” is a suspenseful game where a fortune can be won on the turn of a single playing card. The road to glory and riches begins with two players who face off in a head-to-head elimination game with the goal of one player making it to the life-changing money card round. In the money card round, the winning player has to make gut-wrenching decisions and risk it all to win it all. Ultimately, players can either take their earned cash and quit or continue wagering for a chance to take home a major cash prize. “Card Sharks” is produced by Fremantle. Scott St. John is showrunner and executive producer, and Joel McHale and Jennifer Mullin are also executive producers.
