Ted Lasso’ Season 2 Premieres July 23rd
Apple TV has renewed the hit series Ted Lasso for a second season. The comedy cleaned up during award season securing a Golden Globe and SAG Award for Sudeikis. It also won every award nominated for at the 2021 Critics’ Choice Awards, including a Best Supporting Actress win for Waddingham.
But a show is only as good as the creative team putting all the pieces together. On the Virtual press day, we were able to hear from Costume Designer Jacky Levy, Production Designer Paul Cripps, Casting Director Theo Park, and Makeup & Hair Designer – Nicky Austin
Jason Sudeikis plays Ted Lasso, a small-time college football coach from Kansas hired to coach a professional soccer team in England, despite having no experience coaching soccer.

The series was developed by Sudeikis, Lawrence, Joe Kelly, and Brendan Hunt, and is based on the pre-existing format and characters from NBC Sports.
