Interview With Cast Geoffrey Owens, Tommy Davidson, And Director/ Producer Noel Calloway
Mr. Santa: A Christmas Extravaganza is in theaters on December 6th! Starring comedic genius Tommy Davidson known for “In Living Color” and “The Proud Family”. Geoffrey Owens also appears in the film. He is known for “Power Book II: Ghost” and “Poppa’s House”. The film also features Wakeema Hollis, from “Aurora: A Love Story” and “And Just Like That…”.
Mr. Santa: A Christmas Extravaganza follows three music-loving teens. They clash with the “popular” kids who try to crush their annual Christmas show dreams. Inspired by the kids’ passion, Santa (Owens) hatches a plan and steps in as a substitute teacher. The stakes are higher than ever. Delivering toys to a billion children suddenly seems easy. It’s more challenging to restore teenagers’ belief in the holiday spirit. Santa must save Christmas before time runs out.

Produced by Ten Media and Jay Stern, Yandy Smith and Kristi Kilday, directed by Noel Calloway. Written by daughter-father duo, Kellen Calloway and Noel Calloway who also serves as a producer. The film and soundtrack features original Holiday music by Kenny Lattimore and Yandy Smith.
About Kellen & Noel Calloway
The Father-daughter writing team got a pretty early start. This happened when Kellen was just seven years old. She penned the children’s book ‘The Runaway Princess.’ The transition to screenwriting was natural for Kellen so when Noel started working on the Mr. Santa script, the creative reunion made sense. The sixteen-year-old High School junior is a student-athlete. She is also an artist and can now add screenwriter to her impressive resume. Noel always counts father and husband as his most important titles. Mr. Santa is his third feature film as a Writer/Director. He earlier directed Aurora: A Love Story, released in 2023, and is now playing on Starz Networks. His acclaimed debut film was Life, Love, Soul. When he’s not working on a film he’s coaching his AAU girls basketball team with Kellen as his point guard.
