Kareem Grimes Starring In All American On The Cw Network

Kareem Grimes’s journey began in the ’90s when John Singleton discovered him as a child, casting him in the classic coming-of-age story Boyz n the Hood. Following his debut, he’s appeared in films and shows like Baby Boy, ER, CSI, Bones, S.W.A.T., Grown-ish, and The Vince Staples Show. In Netflix’s The Vince Staples Show, he plays the eccentric and heartwarming “Uncle Mike” in Season One, recently nominated for two NAACP Image Awards, and is currently in production on its second season.

He has been a fan favorite on The CW’s sleeper hit All American as ‘Cordell Simms,’ aka “Preach,” a former gang member and teacher at South Crenshaw for six seasons. “I Got a Story to Tell” Season 7 Episode 705 will air on March 3rd, 2025 at 8:00pm
