The upcoming performance dates are May 25, June 29, July 27, and August 24. All shows are Sunday matinees at 3:00 PM and take place on the Monroe Forum stage at the El Portal Theatre, located at 5269 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood, CA 91601. Coleman is a beloved Southern California icon. He is best known for his four-decade, Emmy®-winning career as a weatherman on KNBC. He also holds an honorary title as Mayor of Toluca Lake. Beyond broadcasting, he’s worn many hats—as an actor, writer, and seasoned stand-up comedian.
His latest one-man show, Unassisted Residency, offers a hilarious and heartfelt take on life as an active septuagenarian. The show is aimed at “woke boomers.” It explores topics like Zoom school, veganism, pharmaceuticals, and retirement. Additionally, it delves into the joys and absurdities of aging. Audiences can expect Fritz’s signature storytelling. They will hear reflections on modern life, delivered with his trademark wit and clean humor.
Each performance features a special guest opener, adding even more entertainment to the afternoon. Due to high demand, early reservations are strongly recommended to avoid disappointment. As Fritz quips, “The show starts early… because I’m catering to my demographic—old people and their parents. I promise to have you home by dark.” Join the laughter and don’t miss this uniquely insightful comedy matinee.
