Get ready for an unforgettable night of music, pride, and patriotism. A Capitol Fourth returns for its 45th anniversary celebration. A Capitol Fourth celebrates our nation’s 249th birthday with a live broadcast from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol – honoring our freedoms and independence, and those who defend them.

Tune in Friday, July 4, 2025, at 8/7c on your local PBS station, the PBS app, pbs.org, on YouTube for a star-studded event featuring performances across pop, country, R&B, Broadway, and classical music. The National Symphony Orchestra, led by renowned pops conductor Jack Everly, will anchor the evening’s spectacular lineup. Celebration will be hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro. The lineup will feature musical guests The Beach Boys and The Temptations.

This cherished annual tradition honors our freedom and independence. It also honors the brave service members who protect it. This event culminates in the nation’s most prominent and most dazzling fireworks show.
