Tyler Labine and Chase Crawford
MOUNTAIN MEN is a comedy/drama that follows two estranged brothers, Toph (Tyler Labine) and Cooper (Chase Crawford), over the course of one eventful weekend as they journey to a remote family cabin in the mountains.
When Cooper, who is now a big city lawyer returns home to a small northern town for his mother’s wedding, he plans to be in and out with our a scratch. But his deadbeat brother Toph has other ideas. He coerces Coop into driving to the remote alpine cabin where they spent their childhood summers. Except now, it’s the dead of winter and Toph wants to evict a derelict squatter.
Their sketchy plan goes from bad to worse, as bruised egos and buried resentments bubble to the surface. Cars explode, cabin’s burn, pot cookies are consumed and when the smoke clears the brothers find themselves stranded in the punishing Rocky Mountain winter, fighting for both their relationship and their lives.
MOUNTAIN MEN deftly blends elements of drama, comedy, and adventure. Toph and Coop must face down their past to rediscover and define the meaning of brotherhood. With their very survival at star, they must learn to work together as brothers to get back to civilization.
