Michael Keaton was awarded the honor of Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters by the Minister of Culture and Communication, Fleur Pellerin, Monday 18 January in Paris 
The honor rewards one of American cinema’s most talented actors, one who has continually held a place in the French public’s heart through unique and unforgettable roles. Michael Keaton rose to fame through globally successful and critically-acclaimed films and working with award-winning directors including: Tim Burton, Quentin Tarrantino and Ron Howard as well as Alejandro Gonzalès Inarritu in the Oscar-winning film Birdman. He is currently starring in Tom McCarthy’s Oscar nominated SPOTLIGHT.
SPOTLIGHT is the next film starring Michael Keaton and directed by Tom McCarthy. It has received six Academy Award nominations and comes out in France on 27 January.
