“Supermom” tells the story of a too-often overlooked group of people – our first responders and how their families deal with the possibility of not knowing whether or not a parent will be coming home at night.  The Los Angeles Fire Department officially helped us make this film, donating various resources; they believed in it that strongly.   The superhero character in “Supermom” is a metaphor for children who have parents, especially mothers, with jobs where they might not come home at night.  It is also a diverse story about breaking the mold of what “mother” is supposed to be.
