Author Ilyse Mimoun Gives Love A New Meaning -With Her Latest Book ‘Choose Your Own Love Story’
At the Comedy Central Stage in West Hollywood, comedian and author Ilyse Mimoun organized a special book reading variety show to celebrate the launch of her acclaimed new book Choose Your Own Love Story.
The unique event featured live sketch reenactments of the featured stories in the book. Just like the classic choose-your-own-adventure books, the live audience got to interact with the sketch show and vote on where the stories would lead to next. The live show featured Wayne Federman who played a piano, capturing the essence of the improv sketches while Mimoun read the stories.
Mimoun’s comedic cast included comedy veterans: Ian Alda, Jeanette Maus, Matt Price, Maggie Rowe, Kristin Studard, and Amir Talai.
The Choose Your Own Love Story book features one beginning, 50 choices, and 20 endings. It’s now available everywhere for purchase.
