The World Children’s Transplant Fund Hosts The Hearts of Gold Dinner

The World Children’s Transplant Fund (WCTF) hosted its annual Hearts of Gold Dinner. It was a heartfelt evening. The event was dedicated to helping children around the world in need of lifesaving organ transplants. This year’s event honored Mr. Mark Wittcoff. He is the Chairman of KW Commercial Beverly Hills. He was recognized for his outstanding leadership. He also has an ongoing commitment to philanthropy in global child health initiatives.

The glamorous evening brought together an impressive lineup of Hollywood stars. Community leaders and industry professionals also attended the event. They were all united by a common cause. Among the guests was film and television icon Lorenzo Lamas. Notable attendees included William Stanford Davis (from Abbott Elementary) and Nathan Broxton (from The Thundermans). Also attending were Donna Pescow (Saturday Night Fever, Even Stevens) and Ella Mika (Birds of Prey, Chad). They were joined by producer Suzanne DeLaurentiis and Joe Cortese (Green Book). James Quattrochi (Tulsa King) and John Laughlin (Second Chances, Crimes of Passion) attended. Nicole French (High Potential) and Kristos Andrews (Darkness of Man, The Bay) attended as well. The crowd included Arun Storrs (The Pitt) and John Ryan McLaughlin (Thirteen Reasons Why). Not to be missed were Blake Boyd (Out of Time) and Lillia Halushko (Miss World).

The evening also welcomed LA Chief of Police Jim McDonnell. Former Santa Monica Mayor Phil Brock served as the night’s spirited auctioneer. Producer Adam Farfan (Dirt Merchants: Rebelistic) was among the many distinguished attendees who lent their support to the cause.

Araksya Karapetyan

Serving as Mistress of Ceremonies was Ms. Araksya Karapetyan, the well-known KTTV Los Angeles news anchor, who guided the program with grace and warmth. Mark Kroeker presented the prestigious Hearts of Gold Award. He is the Founder and Chairman of the World Children’s Transplant Fund. He is also a former LAPD Deputy Chief. Members of the WCTF Board attended the event. Among those in attendance were Board Member Dennis Zine, who previously served as a Los Angeles City Council member, and Board Member Valerie McCaffrey, both of whom exemplify the organization’s dedication to service and community impact.

The Hearts of Gold Dinner took place on Thursday, September 18th. It was held at the elegant Galpin Ford Showroom, located at 15600 Roscoe Blvd. The event once again highlighted WCTF’s enduring mission. Their goal is to bring hope, healing, and lifesaving care to children and families in need worldwide. It reminded all in attendance that compassion and action can truly make a difference.
