Lacey Chabert Teams Up With Raising Cane’s Founder Todd Graves To Donate 120 Bikes To Boys & Girls Club Of Hollywood

Holiday movie icon Lacey Chabert is as synonymous with Christmas as candy canes, presents, and Santa, bringing her signature holiday spirit to Raising Cane’s in Hollywood to help donate branded children’s bikes and helmets to the Boys & Girls Club of Hollywood with friend and Raising Cane’s owner and founder, Todd Graves. For the second year in a row, Chabert and Graves teamed up to gift bikes to Boys & Girls Club kids, welcoming them to the event, passing out bikes and helmets, enjoying hot chocolate, and taking photos with Santa. 120 bikes and helmets were donated during today’s event, with an additional 380 children’s bikes being donated to the Boys & Girls Club ahead of Christmas, making a total of 500 bikes donated to the organization this year. This holiday season, Cane’s is giving away 4,500 bikes in nearly 30 cities, totaling a $1.5M donation.

“I’m so happy to be here with Cane’s on such a joyful occasion. Last year in NYC, it was incredible seeing the excitement and happiness on all the kids’ faces, and I’m so glad Todd asked me to be a part of the bike giveaway again this year,” said Chabert. “This season is about being here for one another and spreading joy all around, and that’s exactly what we’re doing here today.”
“On behalf of every child, I want to say thank you to Raising Cane’s and Todd. Your generosity and kindness have given these kids a memory they will never forget,” said the CEO of Boys & Girls Club of Hollywood, Mel Culpepper. “You have made all the difference in the lives of these children. This is what Christmas is all about, and we are so thankful!”
To make the holiday event even more special, Chabert and Graves were joined by special guests, including Khadijah and Malika Haqq, Sarah Jane Nader, “Vanderpump Rules” Chris Hahn, Dixie, Marc, and Heidi D’Amelio, plus Rams defensive end Larrell Murchison, who took photos with kids and shared in the holiday magic.
Graves’ joy inspired the annual bike giveaway event he felt from receiving a bike for Christmas as a kid, and he wanted to share that joy with kids whose parents might not be able to afford it. Cane’s loves giving back throughout the holiday season and beyond. In total, Cane’s has given back more than $160M to local communities over the years, and Graves has made it his mission to spread holiday cheer through bike giveaways. What once began as a small act of kindness in Baton Rouge has grown into a national movement that touches thousands of lives each holiday season.
“I remember receiving a bike as a kid for Christmas, and it was such an amazing memory for me. I wanted to share that joy with kids and families who need it most. We partnered with Lacey last year, and she was my top choice to join us again – she is ‘The Queen of Christmas’ after all!” said Graves. “Lacey and I share a lot in common, including our passion for giving back and helping others. It’s such a privilege to be able to do this,s and it’s amazing seeing the kids get so excited and having the chance to teach them to ride a bike for the first time.”
“We love partnering with people who like to give back, and I have many celebrity friends helping us out with these bike giveaways across the country. This is what the holiday season is all about, and I hope these kids always remember this moment and can someday pay it forward to another person in need,” said Graves. “We need to be a part of the Communities that Cane’s are in, and LA is important to me because I worked here in Torrance and El Segundo as a boilermaker when I was pursuing my dream of opening the first Raising Cane’s. I’m so happy to be back here, repaying the Community and celebrating this magical time of year.”
