  Pacific Palisades 2016 Spring Garden Tour adds Tony winner and TV Icon, Julie Newmar, to the list of garden tours.  Garden locations are in Pacific Palisades, Brentwood and Santa Monica. Julie Newmar’s gorgeous rose and secret gardens will be featured on the tour.

Other styles of gardens on the Tour include a cut-flower shade garden with an orchard, a GreenPoint rated water-wise landscape garden, a sculpture garden with harmonizing concentric landscaping, a school vegetable garden with farm animals, oasis garden with whimsical features, succulent hillside garden, and the N/E/X/T/ garden in Temescal Canyon featuring California native plants and xeriscape garden.

***In Santa Monica:  Merrihew’s Nursery, 1526 Ocean Park Blvd

***In Pacific Palisades:  Farmer’s Market on Sunday, April 3 & 10; Gift Garden Antiques 15266 Antioch Street; and Lavender Blue, 1032 Swarthmore

***In West Los Angeles:  Yamaguchi Nursery, 1905 Sawtelle Ave

NOTE: Adults who purchase tickets may bring their children at no additional cost. Strollers are not permitted in the gardens.

  The Pacific Palisades Spring Garden Tour takes place on Sunday, April 17, 12 noon to 4pm, rain or shine. Tickets purchased online will be available at Will-Call on Tour Day. All guests who purchase tickets online will receive an email containing the address of the Will-Call location the day before the Tour.  Fresh baked cookies will be available by donation along with complimentary water on Tour day.

Proceeds benefit community education and beautification and public school student gardens.  The Pacific Palisades Garden Club, is non-profit charitable organization founded in 1944, and attracts people living in the Westside communities of the Los Angeles area who enjoy gardening and spending time with other gardeners.
