The Caucus for Producers, Writers & Directors in Association with Emerson College and illuminate studios present 4K Start To Finish, a high profile look at 4K Production.  The seminar will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at illuminate studios, 10900 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, CA 91604 beginning at 7:00 PM. The event is produced by illuminate studios’ CEO Jim Hardy and moderated by USC’s Entertainment Technology Center’s writer Debra Kaufmanpanelist include: MTI’s Larry Chernoff, who will demonstrate his software for 4k production dailies, Alternative Rentals Digital Cinema’s Cliff Hsui will share his expertise about all production cameras, Visual Effects Producer, Cos FX Film Paul Bolger and illuminate’s Finishing Editor Mike Jacks will share their knowledge.

 

4K Start To Finish panelists will discuss how to choose the right camera for your project, processing and managing you 4K data, coupled with how to produce visual effects in 4K and what it takes to deliver your program.

She currently works with USC’s Entertainment Technology Center and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. She has moderated panels and appeared as a speaker on panels at NAB, CES, HPA Tech Retreat, NATPE, Produced By and many other trade shows, consulted on post-production, mobile entertainment and other industry issues. She holds a Master’s degree from UCLA and a Bachelor’s from UC Berkeley. Her other work experience includes UNESCO in Paris and the United Nations in New York.
