The Wrap’s Women, Whiskey and Wisdom Celebrating Women Oscar Nominees Part 5&6

Hosted by WrapWomen in partnership with BenRiach Whisky the evening consisted of a discussion with the Wrap’s Editor-in-Chief Sharon Waxman and some of this year’s Academy® -Award Nominees about the highlights of  and their journeys to the nomination and talk specifically about mentors who have guided and supported them on their path.

On the red carpet was Betty Gabriel(Gey Out), Kerry Chahill(The Walking Dead),Caitlin Carver(I, Tonya) and Mercedes De La Zerda

In attendance for the evening were some of the 2018 Academy-® Award nominees  Producer Evelyn O’Neill (“Ladybird”), Producer/Writer Vanessa Taylor (“The Shape of Water”), Producer Lisa Bruce (“The Darkest Hour”), Producer Emma Thomas (“Dunkirk”), Director Ildikó Enyedi (Best Foreign Language Film “On Body and Soul”), Director Katja Benrath (Best Short Film “Watu Wote: All of Us”), Cinematographer Rachel Morrison (“Mudbound”), Oscar Nominated Songwriter Diane Warren (“Best Original Song “Stand Up for Something” from “Marshall,” with Common), and Rachel Shenton (“The Silent Child,” Best Short Film Live Action Film).
