“Lucha Umderground” Halloween Marathon
No tricks here, just treats! This Halloween, hop into the ring and face off with the toughest and creepiest luchadores in the world. Once the clock strikes midnight, El Rey Network rings the bell on an all-day “Lucha Underground” marathon that leads into an all-new episode of the most-anticipated premier event of the year, Ultima Lucha Cuatro Part 1 at 8pm ET. So help yourself to some Halloween candy and get ready to binge “Lucha Underground” starting at 12am ET on Wednesday, October 31.
Immediately following the Lucha-thon, don’t be spooked if you find Danny Trejo (Machete) standing over your shoulder with a sharp weapon! In a new episode of “Man at Arms: Art of War,” Trejo and the crew forges two blades from a popular fantasy video game, the Aerondight Silver Sword and the Warhammer, and then christens them with a series of extreme tests. “Man at Arms: Art of War” will air at 9pm ET.
Then stay tuned for the US television premiere of Rooster Teeth’s post-apocalyptic drama “Day 5” airing at 10pm ET. The story follows Jake who emerges after a drug binge to learn that most of humanity has died after falling asleep. Battling sleepless fatigue and encroaching delirium, Jake teams up with a scrappy teenager, overnight doctor and red-eye pilot to search for answers while forcing themselves to stay awake. El Rey Network will air two seasons of the one-hour drama created by Rooster Teeth’s co-founders Burnie Burns and Matt Hullum alongside Josh Flanagan, and Chris Demarais.
