More than 663 million people don’t have access to clean drinking water and more than a third of the world population – 2.38 billion people – do not have sufficient sanitation. Big cities such as Cape Town go through water rationing and the State of California has seen an unprecedented drought over the last few years.
Viva con Agua so far supported more than 2.5 million people with free access to clean and safe drinking water through their network of over 10.000 volunteers, artists, friends, and supporters, such as Cypress Hill, Richard Gere, Ed Sheeran, the Dalai Lama, Formula 1 Racing Champion Nico Rosberg and Jack Black. After twelve years in Europe, Mozambique, and Uganda, Viva con Aqua is coming to California to work with the art & music industry in Hollywood and entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley in order to make a lasting impact in the Golden State and beyond.
