(NEW YORK) – December 18, 2013 – Monday night, the 135th Street Agency and Strength of Nature, LLC hosted a holiday party and 2014 Beautiful Textures Upfront at ARENA in NYC. Hundreds packed the sexy venue, which was outfitted with festive white poinsettias, a silver Christmas tree and green and purple lighting. 135th founder/CEO Shante Bacon and Managing Partner Saptosa Foster were on hand to welcome friends, family and special guests which included Monami Entertainment’s Mona Scott-Young, beauty expert Tia Williams, Tina Davis of Phase Too Management, Atlantic Records’ Joi Pitts, Atlantic Records recording artist Justine Skye, Shaheem Reid, Michaela Angela Davis, Breeze (BET), Jacquie Lee (Jacquie Lee International), Ariane Davis (“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta”), Sharon Carpenter (Revolt TV), Meena Charaipotra (VH1) and many more. Event hosts Angela Yee (Power 105 FM/VH1’s “The Gossip Game”) and Sway Calloway (MTV, SiriusXM) kicked the night off with a video presentation recapping 135th’s recent work and clients. Then tv personality/designer Angela Simmons joined Angela Yee to co-host the Upfront, which featured an announcement of Beautiful Textures’Naturally Straight Texture Manageability System™ and a hot performance by Atlantic Records recording artist Sevyn Streeter. The evening ended with the crowd dancing the night away to tunes spun by DJ Amanda Seales.
