Please join KCET for the 21st Annual FINE CUT Festival of Films in a virtual awards ceremony celebrating this year’s work of student filmmakers.
The virtual event on Tues., Sept. 29 at 7:00 p.m. will announce this year’s winners in a special presentation on YouTube Live. The presentation will include clips from the short films with entertainment industry experts who served as judges for this year’s competition. FINE CUT Judges Tim Cruz, Pete Hammond, Monica Lago-Kaytis, Yolanda Ross, Michael Schneider, Josh Welsh, and Wendy Willis will present the filmmakers with awards for Best in Animation, Documentary, and Narrative Film and the prestigious Jack Larson Award for one filmmaker to be a part of the American Pavilion Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at the Cannes International Film Festival in May 2021.
