“THE DAILY SHOW’S” ROY WOOD JR. SET TO HOST “31 MORE DAYS OF BEING HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS”

Comedy Central announced that Roy Wood Jr., comedian and “Daily Show” correspondent will host “31 More Days of Being Home for the Holidays”. The month-long programming block, now in its third year, provides viewers a “holiday from the holiday” with holiday-themed episodes of iconic shows, weekend movie marathons, and all-new comedy specials. As host, Wood will star in interstitial sketches complementing “31 Days” programming on Comedy Central, with additional content rolling out on social and digital platforms throughout the month.

Programming for “31 More Days of Being Home for the Holidays” include (subject to change):

  • Every Tuesday: Drunk History: Seasonal Happy Hour – pour a shot and learn a lot with some of the series most popular episodes
  • Friday 12/4: Network Television Premiere – “Jim Gaffigan: Quality Time” one hour stand-up special
  • Friday 12/11: World Premiere – “Michael Kosta: Detroit. NY. LA.” an original Comedy Central one hour stand-up special
  • Christmas Day, Friday 12/25: Annual airing of “Jeff Dunham Very Special Christmas Special” one hour special
