Nag Ashwin Reddy is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his works in Telugu cinema. He made his directorial debut in 2015 with the coming-of-age philosophical drama film YEVADE SUBRAMANYAM. In 2018, he directed the biographical film MAHANATI, starring Keerthy Suresh as yesteryear actress Savitri. At the 66th National Film Awards 2019, the film won accolades including the Best Feature Film in Telugu. Nag Ashwin received the Filmfare Award for Best Director – Telugu at the 66th Filmfare Awards South. Mahanati was showcased in the Indian Panorama Mainstream section at the 49th International Film Festival of India and has also garnered the “Equality in Cinema Award” at the 2018 Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.

Prabhas

Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju, known as Prabhas, is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. One of the highest-paid actors in Indian cinema, Prabhas has been featured in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list three times since 2015 based on his income and popularity. He has received seven Filmfare Awards South nominations and is a recipient of a Nandi Award and a SIIMA Award.

Prabhas made his acting debut with the 2002 Telugu drama EESWAR, and later attained his breakthrough with the action romance VARSHAM. His notable works include CHATRAPATHI, BUJJIGADU, BILLA, DARLING, MR. PERFECT, and MIRCHI. He won the Nandi Award for Best Actor for his performance in the lattermost. In 2015, Prabhas starred in the title role in S. S. Rajamouli’s epic action drama BAAHUBALI: THE BEGINNING, which is the thirteenth-highest-grossing Indian film to date. He later reprised his role in its sequel, BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION, which became the first Indian film ever to gross over ₹1,000 crore (US$155 million) in all languages in just ten days, and is the second-highest-grossing Indian film to date.

In addition to acting in films, Prabhas is also the brand ambassador for the MahindraTUV300. He is the first Telugu actor to receive a wax sculpture at Madame Tussaud’s wax museum.

Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan, born Amitabh Shrivastav, is an Indian actor, film producer, television host, occasional playback singer, and former politician, who works in Hindi cinema. His film career spans over five decades and he has starred in more than 200 films. Bachchan is widely regarded as one of the most successful and influential actors in the history of Indian cinema. Referred to as the Shahenshah of Bollywood, Sadi Ke Mahanayak (Hindi for, “Greatest actor of the century”), Star of the Millennium, or Big B. His dominance in the Indian movie scene during the 1970s–1980s made the French director François Truffaut call it a “one-man industry”.

In addition to acting, Bachchan has worked as a playback singer, film producer, and television presenter. He has hosted several seasons of the game show KAUN BANEGA CROREPATI, India’s version of the game show franchise, WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE? He also entered politics for a time in the 1980s. Bachchan has also been involved in several humanitarian works and he is a leading brand endorser in India.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Hindi films. She is one of the highest-paid actresses in India, and her accolades include three Filmfare Awards. She features in listings of the nation’s most popular personalities; Time named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2018 and awarded her the TIME100 Impact Award in 2022.

The romantic comedy COCKTAIL marked a turning point in her career, and she gained further success with starring roles in the romantic comedies YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI and CHENNAI EXPRESS, the heist comedy HAPPY NEW YEAR, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period dramas BAJIRAO MASTANI and PADMAAVAT, and the Hollywood action film XXX: RETURN OF XANDER CAGE. She also received critical acclaim for playing a character based on Juliet in Bhansali’s tragic romance GOLIYON KI RAASLEELA RAM-LEELA and a headstrong daughter in the comedy-drama PIKU, winning two Filmfare Awards for Best Actress. Following a short hiatus and two commercially unsuccessful productions under her own company Ka Productions, Padukone starred in her highest-grossing Indian film, PATHAAN.

Padukone is the founder of The Live Love Laugh Foundation, which creates awareness of mental health in India. Vocal about issues such as feminism and depression, she also participates in stage shows, has written columns for a newspaper, designed her own line of clothing for women, and is a prominent celebrity endorser for brands and products. Her other ventures include startup investments and a self-care brand.

Kamal Haasan

Kamal Haasan is an Indian actor, filmmaker, screenwriter, playback singer, television presenter, and politician who works mainly in Tamil cinema. He has also appeared in some Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada and Bengali films. He is regarded as one of the finest actors in Indian cinema. Haasan is also known for introducing many new technologies and cosmetics to the Indian film industry. He has won numerous accolades, including Four National Film Awards, Nine Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, Four Nandi Awards, One Rashtrapati Award, Two Filmfare Awards, and 17 Filmfare Awards South. He was awarded the Kalaimamani Award in 1984, the Padma Shri in 1990, the Padma Bhushan in 2014, and the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Chevalier) in 2016.

For his philanthropic efforts, Haasan received the first Abraham Kovoor National Award in 2004. He was the project ambassador for the Hridayaragam 2010 event, which raised funds for an orphanage for HIV/AIDS-affected children. In September 2010, Haasan launched a children’s cancer relief fund and gave roses to children with cancer at Sri Ramachandra University in Porur, Chennai. Haasan was nominated by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Swachh Bharat Mission. On 21 February 2018, Haasan formally launched his political party, Makkal Needhi Maiam (lit. People’s Justice Centre). He has also received a Golden Visa from the United Arab Emirates.

Disha Patani

Disha Patani is an Indian actress who is known for her work in Hindi films. She began her acting career with the Telugu film LOAFER (2015). She had her first Hindi film release with the biopic M.S. DHONI: THE UNTOLD STORY (2016), for which she won the Stardust Award for Superstar of Tomorrow – Female and the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year – Female. Patani subsequently played the leading lady in the Chinese action comedy KUNG FU YOGA (2017) and the Hindi films BAAGHI 2 (2018), BHARAT (2019), MALANG (2020), and EK VILLAIN RETURNS (2022). Since she began acting, Disha Patani’s name has also become synonymous with fitness and fashion. Patani has 58.5 million followers on her Instagram account where she often posts about fitness and fashion.
